Creating a Comma Separated File from an Excel

   1.      
  Open your xls file in Excel. 2.      
  On the File menu, click ‘Save As’.  The Save As window will be displayed with
  the name of your file in the File Name field. 3.      
  In the Save as type field select CSV (Comma delimited).  This will change the extension of your file
  name in the File Name field. 4.      
  Press Save. This will have created a comma
  separated file.  If you try to reopen
  the file it will automatically open in Excel because the file is associated
  with this format.  However, if you
  select Properties on the File menu you will see that this is a Comma
  Separated Values (CSV) file.  If you
  open the file in Notepad, you will see it in Comma Separated format.  |
