You can search for other financial institution from Canada and around the world using the Bank Search service.

Search: for Banks by:

• SWIFT/BIC
• Institution-Transit Number

To search for a Bank:

1. You can access the Bank Search feature from within the ‘Create One Time Payment’ page (when creating Wire payments) or when you create a recipient for a Wire payment from the Manage Recipient menu.
2. Select Wire Payments as the Payment Type.
3. Select the “Bank Search” button from the Recipient Bank Information section.
4. Select Country from the dropdown list.
   1. If the selected country is Canada, search by entering the Institution and Transit Number or by SWIFT code.
   2. If the selected country is USA, search by entering the nine-digit ABA number or SWIFT code.  The ABA number is only applicable to U.S. banks.
   3. For countries other than Canada or USA, search using the SWIFT code and the Bank Name and Bank Address.
5. Click on the “Search” button.  The results will be displayed in the lower portion of the page.
6. Select the appropriate bank from the list provided and the information will populate Bank fields in the ‘Create One Time Payment’ page or the ‘Create A Recipient’ page. 
7. Click on the “Close” button to close the Bank Search page.
8. The “Reset” button clears the information you’ve entered and returns the Search Criteria to the default settings.
