Real Estate Payments

The Service Information screen for Real Estate Payments displays the following information:

  • Service Name “Real Estate Payments”
  • Hours of availability
  • Approval settings belonging to the Real Estate Payments service
  • Functions belonging to the Real Estate Payments service
  • Accounts belonging to the Real Estate Payments service

The Real Estate Payments service allow as user to securely transfer funds to Teranet’s Closure™ service, enabling lawyers to close real estate transactions in Ontario.

Note: The Approval Settings are displayed for your information only. To make changes to these settings, please contact your Relationship Manager.

Approval and Over Bulletin Booking settings belonging to the Real Estate Payments service

Approver option can be set to either:

  1. Approval Must Come From a User in a Different Group
    (If selected then the User who approves a payment must be in a different Group than the User who entered the payment)
  2. Must be a Different User

Number of Approvals/Approval Tiers Real Estate Payments Settings:

This section displays the number of approvals required for your Real Estate Payments payment transactions. The number of approvals required can range from 1 to 3.

By changing the values for the Minimum/Maximum Approvals Required and the Approval Tiers. The Real Estate Payment Service can be configured to enforce approvals for all outgoing Real Estate Payments over a certain dollar amounts. Using these limits it will also enforce approvals, for any changes to any Real Estate Payment Templates. Approval can be configured for to 1, 2 or 3 Users.

Note: Please contact your Relationship Manager to make changes to your Approver, Minimum Approvals Required or Maximum Approvals Required settings.

Functions belonging to the Real Estate Payments service

Note: To add or remove access to services with an x or a checkmark next to them you will need to contact your Relationship Manager.

If a function has been assigned to the service, a check mark will be displayed in the Assign column next to the function.

Functions belonging to the Real Estate Payment service:

Real Estate Payments Enables payment transactions to be created/submitted to the Bank.
Real Estate Payment History Provides a report of historical payment transactions.

Accounts belonging to the Real Estate Payments service

Accounts belonging to the Real Estate Payments service, lists all accounts that have been set up for the Real Estate Payments service. Click on the Account Number to see details of an individual account. To assign accounts to a users group, go to the Real Estate Payment Groups Setup screen. To add or remove accounts from the Real Estate Payments service, please contact your relationship manager.

To leave the Real Estate Payments Service Information screen, click the Cancel button.
