EFT Payment Groups |
Payments created with the EFT service must be associated to a Payment Group. The payment group provides the Agreement ID, Long Name, Short Name and Chargeback Account for all payments associated to that payment group.
This information cannot be modified for individual payments within the group.
The payment group selected also provides a default payment type (debit or credit) and a CPA code, but this information can be updated for individual payments that are created.
The Create/Modify a Payment Group function allows users to set up new payment groups and modify or delete existing payment groups.
Access to payment groups will be based on whether or not a user has been given access to the Payment Group function, and whether they have access to the Agreement ID that has been associated to a payment group. Refer to Group Information – Service Privilege Details - EFT Payments for more information.
